                                                  Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women

With a staggering number since 2016, women and young girls have been taken away and killed. Indigenous women are murdered at a rate ten percent higher than any other ethnic group. The murders happen by non-native hands. With a lack of care in the issue and communication, investigations are not started, or not finished. 

Take a look at these staggering numbers. 

5,712 known missing and murdered Native American women since 2016. 

84% of Native American women experience violence in some way. This is both deeply upsetting, and unacceptable. 

Murder is the 3rd leading cause of death for Native women between the ages 10-24
