February 20th, 2021 Reading recommendations #1

Good Saturday folks, I hope everyone is having a great Saturday. Let's hop into some book talk.

Not too much fiction in this post, but if you have some recommendations for some great fiction reads. Let me know in the comments or on social media.

Reading Jackie: Her Audiobiography in Books By William Kuhn

I totally recommend this one for anyone who enjoys biographies, pop culture, and history. Jack Kennedy Onassis was adored the world over. This is probably one of the better books written on Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

People Who Love to Eat Are Always the Best People: And Other Wisdom. By: Julia Child

I can't have a pop culture blog and not talk about Julia, especially when she has been a lot of talk lately. This was released last year and if you get the hardcover, copy it's a wonderful addition to have. This book gives us a great collection of famous and not-so-famous quotes and wisdom from The Lady of The Laddle. Mrs. Child may be gone a while now, but her words, wisdom, and culinary knowledge are eternal. I recommend this and it would make a great gift.

The Authorized Roy Orbison: The Authorized Biography. By: Alex Orbison, Roy Orbison Jr, Wesley Orbison, and Jeff Slate.

The book that all ' Big O' fans have been waiting for. Yes, including me. Roy's sons along with Jeff Slate gave us a wonderful collection of authorized stories and books portraying the life and legacy of Roy Orbison. This has some never-before-seen photos and stories from his sons. This came out a few years ago but is a must for all fans of music, rock, and pop culture.

Well, folks, I hope you get your read on this weekend or in the near future with some of these suggestions. I promise you won't regret it.

I hope you still learning life with pop culture and adventure.

Remember to be safe, be kind, and wash your hands.
