Review Of Full Moon's Decadent Evil (2005)

This was sent to me by FullMoon Entertainment. All of the opinions are mine and mine alone. 

It has been a while since I did a full movie review. After a little lull in content creating, I am trying to be back and better than ever. A Few weeks ago, I had ordered a Blu-ray from FullMoon Entertainment. Along with it they sent me a free DVD copy of this movie. I thought that was pretty cool of them, so in return I would do a short review of it. That being said, lets dig in, shall we?

Decadent Evil starts off so confusing, like many FullMoon productions. Let me say that I have sat through a lot of FullMoon productions, and this was one of the worst. No one goes into one of these thinking " Geeze this is going to be great!" Of course not. It is often said Quality over Quantity, that can't be said by Charles Band. Now don't get me wrong, I have huge respect from his and what he has made. However, there comes a time when a line has to be drawn, and ask yourself, why am I even doing this? This is what I was also asking myself watching this movie. OK clearly, I am a horrible reviewer. So once you can get past that awful first 10 or so minutes of the movie, we are met with a couple who walks into a strip bar. The boyfriend who is a giant piece of shit wants his date or girlfriend to hook up with some of the strippers. ( This is where this movie clearly shows it ages with its blatant homophobia.) Next we meet another guy who is questioning what is going on with his girlfriend. He hires some guy, and then it's discovered that his girlfriend and her close friend are both VAMPIRES. Then in the same FullMoon fashion. is a long winded second and third act. Followed by empty storylines, dull character arks, and the worst dialogue structure one can sit through. However, like I said, you don't pop in a FullMoon feature because it made the Oscar list. Thus, we are left with a typical ridiculous scene of 2 puppet devil minion things " Screwing." If you want a horney mess of early 2000 shit film this one is for you.
